Give the Boy a Chance.

If a man have a fifty dollar bull pup, he will look after it

carefully, and not let it run all over town at night. But if he have a boy, it is different; the boy is turned loose at a tender age, to go to the bad. And yet people wonder where the members of the army of loafers, cigarette fiends and gamblers come from. They are germinated from the pure seed gathered at home and sown broadcast on the streets and alleys. The boy ought to be given an equal chance with the bull pup. Catholic Sun.
