# The Song of Spring

<!-- page:455 -->

THE SONG OF SPRING.
{For the Improvement Era.)
Come out, come out, /or the spring is here!
Come out, with a shout, where the sky is clear,
For the earth is bright, in the warm sunlight,
And the air seems to ring
With the song of spring.
Come out, come out, for the spring is here !
Come out, look about, for the winter drear
Has now passed away, and all nature is gay
With the tokens that bring
The spring, gentle spring.
Come out, come out, for the spring is here!
Away with all doubt, disappointment and fear,
For a kind Father's love sends new hope from above,
Till our hearts fairly sing,
With the song of spring.
Lon J. Haddock.
Salt Lake City, Utah.
