THE SUNSET SEA.
Come fly with me to the Sunset Sea, To live near thee, Mystic Sea,
In the land of liberty, Seemed death and misery,
Where mount and lea yield bounteously! Till industry and agony
Where thrives the honey-bee. Brought pulsing life and glee!
Oh didst thou see sublimity Work heartily, yes, mightily!
Beside the Inland Sea; Help save humanity!
The ancestry and destiny And thou shalt be in ecstasy
Of Saints so brave and free? Beyond Life's Sunset Sea!
